Growing a distillery, rooted in the farm.
For the past four years, East Chase Distillers has been slowly building into a sustainable business, right here on our family farm in Warwickshire.
What started as an idea has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve created our own range of spirits, welcomed people to the farm for evenings of food and drink, and gradually built relationships with businesses and customers who have become part of our story.
Along the way, we’ve proudly produced four gins: London Dry, Citrus Orange, Summer Fruits and Rhubarb & Apple. Alongside these, we’ve created three vodkas: our Premium Standard, Orange & Passionfruit and Wild Berries. We’ve also introduced a couple of special editions, including our limited-edition Sloe Gin and Barrel Aged Gin.
But East Chase Distillers has always been about more than what’s in the bottle.
A distillery with a place in the community
One of the things we’ve loved most over the past four years is welcoming people to the farm.
Our monthly street food evenings, working alongside some fantastic local street food vendors, have become a chance for people to come together, relax with friends and enjoy good food and drink in what we like to think of as a home-from-home setting.
Alongside these, our Wildflower Events Field has hosted private parties, celebrations and events, bringing even more people onto the farm.
For a family that has farmed here for generations, building relationships within our local community has always been important. Those connections have helped East Chase Distillers grow, and we’re grateful for the people who have supported us along the way.
From the farm to the bar
Over the past few years, we’ve seen our spirits gradually become favourites in a growing number of establishments across Warwickshire and beyond.
It’s been particularly exciting to see our gin and vodka become the house pour in several venues, including Wildes Bar in Leamington Spa, Ronnie’s in Warwick, Warwick Conferences at the University of Warwick and Brownsover Hall in Rugby.
Every new relationship brings something different, and we’re proud to see our spirits being enjoyed by people who might never have visited the farm itself.
We’re also seeing more people coming out to the distillery, wanting to learn about what we do, how we make our spirits and what goes into creating each bottle.
It’s a reminder that people are interested in more than just the finished product. They want to know where it comes from, who makes it and the story behind it.
Building something different
The spirits industry is a competitive place to be.
We’re up against some enormous global brands, with marketing budgets, production volumes and resources that a small independent distillery simply can’t compete with.
For a small business, rising costs and the expense of producing spirits on a smaller scale bring their own challenges.
But we’ve never wanted to make spirits just to compete on volume.
Our gin and vodka are created, distilled and bottled here on the farm, using our own recipes and traditionally made with natural dried botanicals sourced both locally and from around the world.
Even our bottles are something we’ve spent time getting right. Rather than choosing something straight off the shelf, our bespoke bottles have been carefully designed and are British made.
These details all add to the cost of producing our spirits, but they’re also part of what makes East Chase Distillers what it is.
And increasingly, we’re seeing people appreciate those details.
So, what’s next for East Chase Distillers?
As we look towards 2027, our focus is on getting the word out to more people.
We want to continue building strong, personal relationships with businesses, both locally and nationally, while introducing East Chase Distillers to more customers who enjoy discovering something a little different.
Each year has brought new opportunities, new partnerships and new people into our community. We don’t know exactly what the next year will bring, but we’re excited to find out.
Most importantly, we want to keep doing things our way.
Making spirits here on the farm, welcoming people through the doors and creating something that feels genuinely connected to the place it comes from.
If you’ve been part of East Chase Distillers so far, thank you. Whether you’ve visited the farm, enjoyed a drink at one of our local venues, bought a bottle for yourself or discovered us more recently, you’re part of what we’re building.
And if you haven’t yet, there’s plenty more to come.
